Auditions are typically held the first two rehearsals of each concert cycle (September, January).

Our director prefers that the prospective singer attend the 7 p.m. rehearsal and sing with the part they are most comfortable with. After the rehearsal, he will interview the singer and check for range. The ability to sightread music is preferred, but exceptions are made. The annual fee is $50, generally waived for students. Scholarships may be available based upon need. PBS usually provides music, but occasionally singers may be asked to purchase music. All ages are encouraged to audition. In the past we have had singers from ages 10 to 89 singing in one concert. Anyone interested in auditioning can email PenBaySingers@gmail.com. The group is always in need of bass/baritone and tenors.
